Tree Pruning In The Willamette Valley

We at Eugene Tree Service want you to know what to expect from our services when we prune or trim your trees. Our motto is safety first. When we arrive at your home our safety vests and hard hats are put on. We then unload our equipment and place it in the appropriate area. Since we will be lowering and dropping limbs, the work area is carefully inspected for outdoor lighting fixtures, utility boxes, potted plants, flowers, sprinklers and any other items that might be affected. We make a special effort to not damage anything. Careful planning is done so the majority of limbs find themselves on the landing zone. A ladder is used on pruning jobs so that climbing spurs don’t dig into the tree trunk causing eye sores and tree damage. Our climber puts on climbing gear and uses the ladder to get into the tree. The ladder is then removed. The climber moves up the tree using the flip line attached to each side of his belt and straddles the tree for safety. Once the climber reaches the strongest limb at the top of the tree, he ties in a safety line using it to walk out on limbs and rappel to any location in the tree. Any dead limbs are then carefully removed. Dead limbs hanging in a tree are called widow makers and removing these limbs is important. A decision is made on each limb whether to lower it on a friction device (chain brake), pulley system or if it is safe to drop the limb in free-fall technique. Lightening the load of a tree will help protect it from future breakage during wind or snow storms. Shaping your tree finishes the aesthetic look. We will give your tree a nice, rounded appearance. When the tree trimming is done we ask if the customer is satisfied according to the terms contracted. We follow up with an amazing clean up using rakes, tarps, trash barrels and an industrial power blower. Your property will look clean and tidy before we leave.Your satisfaction makes our work enjoyable and we want to serve you again. Whenever you need a tree pruning don’t hesitate to give us a call.
